Emails are detected as spam by SMG and action for Spam policy is ‘Hold message in Spam Quarantine’, however delivery to the Quarantine Folder failed unexpected.
While doing telnet testing to Controlcenter port 41025, connection closed by foreign host.

Below error can be seen from BrightmailLog.log: ERROR - netscape.loda.LDAPException: failed to connect to server ldap://10.0.16.144:389 ERROR - Attempt to resolve email@example.com failed due to LDAP server error ERROR - Resolving email alias for : firstname.lastname@example.org failed to connnect to server ldap://10.0.16.144:389
Ldap server unreachable is the root cause for hold message to quarantine failure.
Customer need to recover the communication between SMG and LDAP source.
Workaround is to disable LDAP source in SMG.
