Ghost images restored to EFI configured system won't retain the proper boot order.
Last Updated January 28, 2019
After deploying a EFI image to a Ghost Client the boot order in the bios/firmware will list the Windows Boot Manager/Hard drive first even if it wasn't the first item in the list before the restore.
Ghost Solution Suite 3.x
Windows Clients OS's loaded in EFI mode rather than Bios/Legacy
When a EFI ghost image is restored to an EFI system ghost will update the Firmware to point to the Windows Boot Manager as the first item to boot from.
In GSS 3.2 RU6 and later the boot order is left alone and will not be changed.
If a customer needs to have the 'windows boot manager' as the first boot item they can add the '-fixefiboot' to the Ghost command line.
