Mozilla Firefox 32-bit (Extended Support Release) 45 or later
You must add the "<Java install directory>/bin" folder to Windows Path environment variable before installing Symantec Protection Engine as this is required for SPE to find the run-time dependency that is needed by Java during the installation.
To add the Java Install Directory to the Windows Path, follow these steps:
Go to Control Panel
Click on System to open the System Properties
Click on Advanced system settings
Click on Environment Variables
Locate and select Path under System variables
Click on Edit
In Variable value proceed to the end of the field
Append the Java path “;<Java install directory>/bin” (without the quotes)
Example: ";C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_131\bin" (without the quotes)
