Changing the "Client Mode" configuration on the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) to "Client Control" from "Server Control results in the "Enable Firewall" check box to be grayed out on the Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) client.
On initializing, the security configuration dialog check for client control mode was failing as it was "anded" with other Boolean variables.
This issue has been fixed SEP14 (v. 14.0.2349.0100)
