You install NTI Media Maker on a system running Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition (Cloud) and now when selecting "Check for latest software" a prompt for NTI Media Maker Liveupdate appears. It then checks for updates on the NTI Media Maker website.
Installing NTI Media Maker adds a registry key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths called liveupdate.exe
It points to C:\Program Files (x86)\NTI\NTI Media Maker Express\LiveUpdate\liveupdate.exe.
To resolve this issue delete the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\liveupdate.exe
Symantec is working on a fix to handle this better in the future.
