Issue/Introduction

Changing the Access Logs to show local time
Can the access logs be changed to show local time instead of UTC time?
Configuring access logs to show local time
You want the Access Logs to show local time

Resolution

The default ELFF log format does not contain the local time of the ProxySG. If you wish to include the local time, then add the token 'localtime' to the Access Log format. You can do this by going into the Management Console > Configuration tab > Access Logging > Formats.  Highlight the log file & click Edit. Add the token here.

Here is a before and after example

Default Main log format :

date time time-taken c-ip sc-status s-action sc-bytes cs-bytes cs-method cs-uri-scheme cs-host cs-uri-port cs-uri-path cs-uri-query cs-username cs-auth-group s-hierarchy s-supplier-name rs(Content-Type) cs(Referer) cs(User-Agent) sc-filter-result cs-categories x-virus-id s-ip

Modified to log local time :

localtime time-taken c-ip sc-status s-action sc-bytes cs-bytes cs-method cs-uri-scheme cs-host cs-uri-port cs-uri-path cs-uri-query cs-username cs-auth-group s-hierarchy s-supplier-name rs(Content-Type) cs(Referer) cs(User-Agent) sc-filter-result cs-categories x-virus-id s-ip
