Issue/Introduction

 

Delete on abandonment not working on Edge SWG (ProxySG) when client prematurely terminates a download.  In active sessions, server bytes will continue to increase until download is complete.  This unexpected behaviour can happen when the Edge SWG (ProxySG) has http.allow_compression (yes) in the policy.

Resolution

Workaround

Complete the following steps:

  1. Configuration > policy > policy files > visual policy
  2. Next to install VPM-CPL from, select text editor and click install
  3. Search in the policy for "http.allow_compression(yes)"
  4. Change yes to no
  5. Click install
