The flow limit policy for a host-based class is not working.
Last Updated May 13, 2017
I created a flow limit policy for a host-specific class, but the host info command is still showing that the number of new flow per minute is exceeding the flow limit policy.
First, check the following:
Make sure that the host class that has the flow limit policy applied will capture all the traffic flows for the host.
Make sure that there aren't any exception classes that might capture some of the flows before they are classified into the host class.
The host info command actually displays the raw traffic flows generated by the host. PacketShaper will apply the flow limit policy after the display of the raw traffic. To see the number of flows that were blocked due to the flow limit policy, look at the server-flood-block and client-flood-block measurement variables.
