What conditions Reporter looks for in the log file to determine a visit to a site has been denied What conditions does Reporter need to see in the log file to declare the visit to a site has been denied? You want to know what conditions Reporter looks for in the log file to determine a visit to a site has been denied
Reporter will first look to see if the x-exception-id even exists as a field in the log file. If it does it will look for these three conditions.
A dash (-) will mean the site was allowed.
A "content_filter_denied" or "Denied Content" will show as "denied content".
If it is anything else other than a dash ( -) it will show as "denied_other"
If this field doesn't exist it then looks for the sc-filter-result field in the log file. Here it looks for these conditions.
If the field is populated as "PROXIED" or "OBSERVED" it will show as allowed.
If the field is populated in any other way it is shown as denied.
NOTE: Reporter will only use the sc-filter-result field if the x-exception-id field does not exist.
