The most likely cause of the above problem is ARP (Address Resolution Protocol). When you configure the PacketShaper, you input the site router and gateway IP addresses. Once you input these parameters, the system will use ARP to continuously check whether these devices are accessible.
If you have any problem with address resolution you will get the "Site router not found" and/or "Gateway not found" error messages. If you see these messages, check the following:
In the Security Setup page, make sure that your interfaces are not set to secure.
If you set the interfaces to list, make sure the IP addresses of the gateway and site router are listed.
Make sure that your firewall is not blocking the ARP packets.
Try to ping the gateway and site router from the PacketShaper.
