NPM crash occurs due to an ASSERT for FP_FOUND. The issue has been resolved in XOS 9.5.0 and above.The NPM reboots due to a crash, and the logs show the following entries:
Mar 6 18:20:09 npm1 cbs_np6_flowd: [F] FP_FLOW_SYNC1: ASSERT "status == FP_FOUND" failed at flow_proc.c:3385 Mar 6 18:20:09 fw02vsx-cpm cbsirmd: [I] Node state change: slot 1 state 11 Mar 6 18:20:09 fw02vsx-cpm cbssysctrld: [I] NPM 1 began crash dumping
Problem: The problem occurs when the NPM is processing traffic and it is searching for a unidirectional flow entry but it receives a bidirectional entry instead. So, the NPM returns an ASSERT for FP_FOUND indicating the flow process was found but not the expected one.
