The link-local IPv6 addresses are listed on VAPs even if no enable-ipv6 is specifiedVAP group is configured with the
no enable-ipv6 statement but when connected to the specified VAP the Link-Local IPv6 address is shown in ifconfig:
Addresses prefixed with fe80::/64 are Link-Local addresses. Link-Local addresses are designed to be used for addressing on a single link for purposes such as automatic address configuration, neighbor discovery or when no routers are present.
It is a normal behavior that Link-Local addresses appear on the VAP even if the
no enable-ipv6 statement is specified in the VAP group configuration.
