The X-series platform does not support fragments for the same flow being received on multiple NPMs. Receiving fragmented traffic on multiple interfaces will cause performance issues and/or packet loss.
Two issues might occur when the fragmented packets are received on multiple NPMs:
If fragmented packets for a same flow are received on multiple NPMs and the receiving circuits are configured with a same domain ID, the NPMs will reclassify the flow constantly, which will cause performance issues.
If the circuits are configured with different domain IDs, the packets will be considered to belong to separate flows and thus the packets reassembly will fail.
To address this issue, reconfigure the upstream switches to transmit all packets for a given flow to a single NPM.
