The SSL Visibility Appliance is considered a secure device, and therefore has no means to reset a forgotten password. If you no longer have access to the appliance, it will require a factory reset. This will perform the following actions:
Wipes all keys, certificates and crypto sensitive material
Wipes all log files and configuration files
Restores the system to its default state
Note: Appliances upgraded to version 4.x cannot be factory reset back to version 3.x.
You will then need to perform the initial setup, including configuring IP, and choosing a new password for the administrator account.
