Users can reset the ProxySG or CacheFlow configuration using the front panel controls.


 

Users who lost the password to a secured serial console can reset the ProxySG or CacheFlow configuration using the front panel controls.

This solution applies to models of the ProxySG and CacheFlow appliances equipped with front panel buttons and an LCD display.

To reset the appliance to factory defaults:

1. Hold down the left arrow key on the front panel for 5 seconds.

2. The appliance prompts to verify to reset configuration.
3. Select yes to proceed. The appliance reinitializes.

NOTE: This process clears the configuration, it will be required to reconfigure the appliance if you decide to Factory-Default the appliance.
