Issue/Introduction

When configuring Remote Logging on the SSL Visibility appliance there are four options to choose from. This article provides a description of them.

Resolution

Appliance Logs - All SSLV system logs will be sent to the remote server

Appliance Warning/Error Logs - Only SSLV warning/error system logs will be sent to the remote sever

Session and Appliance Logs - All SSLV session logs and system logs will be sent to the remote server

Session and Appliance Warning/Error Logs - Only SSLV session logs that result in an error condition and warning/error system logs will be sent to the remote server

Note: Make sure the segment’s Session Log Mode option is set to "Local Session Log, All Sessions to Remote Syslog" or "Local Session Log, Errors to Remote Syslog" if sending session log data to a remote server.
