CachePulse service can be enabled through GUI Management Console or the CLI

To enable CachePulse service through GUI Management Console :

1.In the Management Console, select Configuration > Proxy Settings > General.


2.In the CachePulse section, select Enable.
3.Click Apply.
The appliance attempts to download the database.


To enable the CachePulse service through the CLI:

In the CLI, type the following commands:

>enable
#config t
#(config)cachepulse
#(config cachepulse)enable

Once enabled, the appliance downloads the current policy:

To verify the policy is current, run the download get-now command. If the policy is already up-to-date, the CLI outputs the following:
