This article described steps to download and install Cloud (Threatpulse) trusted root certificate authority (CA) into Windows machine through IE, other browser like Firefox and Chorme will refer to "Trusted Root Certificate Authorities" store for the CA.

Some errors you may experience if this is NOT installed:
- Certificate is not trusted.
- Your connection is not private.
- Untrusted issuer
- Certificate issue
- Others.

Issue is browser could not find and is not trusting the Cloud Root CA when you have SSL interception enabled.
 

  Download and install the Cloud Root CA from your portal, to the "Trusted Root Certificate Authorities" store.

Download
Logon to portal https://portal.threatpulse.com/
Go to Service > Network > SSL Interception
- Verify if you have "Enable SSL Interception" ?
- Click "Download" and save the "CertEmulationCA.crt" to your local machine

Install via IE
Go to Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Content > Certificates
Click on tab "Trusted Root Certificate Authorities" > Import
Next > Browser the file "CertEmulationCA.crt" you saved just now, Click Open
Next > Certificate store "Trusted Root Certificate Authorities"
Next > Finish > OK > Close
Restart your browser

Other browser like Firefox and Chorme will refer to "Trusted Root Certificate Authorities" store of the same machine.
