Secure Web Gateway Virtual Appliance ProxySG Software - SGOS SWG VA-100

Issue/Introduction

This article provides information on: About the New Licenses
New licenses were introduced for 1500, 2000, and 2500 user limits for Secure Web Gateway Virtual Appliances (SWG VA) running on Microsofts Hyper-V hypervisor or VMware’s vSphere Hypervisor. These licenses are available for SGOS versions versions 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, and later.

Memory Requirements and Recommendations
To use any of the new licenses, you must configure the memory reservation for your SWG VA to be 8 GB. Blue Coat recommends configuring 8 GB of memory for all SWG VAs; however, not all user limits require 8 GB of memory. For details on how much memory specific user limits require, refer to the following table.
