You want to understand how Symantec ProxySG and Advanced Secure Gateway (ASG) work or interoperate with Microsoft Office 365.
With the introduction of MS-TURN and SIP protocol detection along with CRL distribution points certificate extension support required for Skype for Business operation there are no known issues with processing full SSL interception for all Office 365 applications and traffic. The only known issues are regarding authentication support for some Office 365 applications and performance considerations when processing Office 365 traffic in general. Minimum release recommendations for Office 365 traffic processing:
ProxySG 6.5: 184.108.40.206 (released on June 29, 2017) and later 6.5 releases
Note: Although Office 365 traffic processing is supported on 220.127.116.11, 18.104.22.168, 22.214.171.124, 126.96.36.199 or 188.8.131.52, they are no longer the recommended release. 184.108.40.206 and later 6.5 releases contain important additional fixes for Office 365 support.
