Issue/Introduction

LiveUpdate for Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) for Mac fails to honor the setting not to use the proxy and incorrectly connects to the system-configured proxy server.

 

The SEP for Mac client prompts the user with a message stating, "LiveUpdate could not connect to the network."

Resolution
