Getting an email alert to a previous email address for a user

A user email address has been updated in the Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition (SEP SBE) cloud management console, but email alerts are still being sent to the previous email address for the user.
Updating the users email address does not change the email address for the default alert
If the user email address is updated, the Default Email Contact Method under Alert Preferences will need to be updated as well.
