A PDF or Microsft Office document is attached to an email in Outlook. When attempting to open the PDF the user gets an error and the PDF fails to open. Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition cloud (SEP SBE) and Dell Data Protection | Protected Workspace (DDPPW) are found to be installed on the affected system.
The Program can't start because C:\Program Files\symantec.cloud\EndpointProtectionAgent\NortonData\'version number'\Definitions\IPSdefs\'definition date'\IPSEng32.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
Issue is related to a conflict with Dell Data Protection | Protected Workspace. Disabling or uninstalling DDPPW allows the PDF and Office document to open.
