Endpoint Protection Cloud Mobile Device Management stuck in enrolling/pending status

When enrolling a Windows 10 device into Mobile Device Management (MDM) via the Symantec Endpoint Protection Cloud (SEPC) portal website, the machine is listed in portal's "Groups, Users, and Devices" but does not get past an "enrolling" or "pending" status. The SEPC client software installer is normally automatically pushed from Symantec after enrollment, but this does not occur.
Symantec engineering found there was an issue with the Software delivery service and the NGC Install MSI used for Windows 10.
The production SDS service is now fixed and this issue should no longer occur in subsequent enrollments.
As a work-around, SEPC may be installed using the redistributable package downloadable from the Settings page of the Endpoint Protection Cloud portal. This will provide managed SEPC protection but device management features will be disabled, including lock and wipe commands.
