Application Classification services take longer than expected to be enabled after database updates
Last Updated April 18, 2018
In SGOS 6.6.x and 6.7.x, some services take longer than expected to be enabled after database updates are downloaded to the appliance. Because this occurs in the background, you might not notice the increased load time. The behavior is apparent when enabling the Application Classification service, or when enabling other services (such as Blue Coat categorization, Application Attributes, or Threat Risk Levels) while Application Classification is enabled.
The increased load time occurs because Symantec added a significant number of application URL ratings to the content filtering database to support application control for Office 365.
This issue is fixed in 6.7.4.x.
