Issue/Introduction

Unix agent collection failing. Job messages report "Assets are unavailable and unreachable"

All other data collections work correctly.

Job Message:

Assets are unavailable and unreachable"
Error in verbose DPS logs:
Exception in ServerScopeBuilder::ServerScopeBuilder : Syatem.IO.FileNotFoundException: Coupld not load file or assembly 'file:///<install path>\Reporting and Analytics\DPS\UnixScopes.dll' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
 

Environment


 

Cause

The UnixScopes.dll file is not in the correct folder path.

Resolution

There will be a copy of this file in "<Install Path>\Reporting and Analytics\DPS\Data Collectors\Unix".
Copy the UnixScopes.dll from this location and paste in "<Install Path>\Reporting and Analytics\DPS"
