Searching Spam Quarantine using the From: filter returns no results

Following the update to Messaging Gateway (SMG) 10.6.3, searching the Spam Quarantine using the full email address as the sender / From: filter returns no results even though searches based on recipient / To: filter shows the quarantined message as expected.
This has been resolved with the SMg 10.6.4 release.
For earlier versions, searches using the To:, Subject:, and Message-ID filters are unaffected. Additionally, searching for the display name in the From line rather than the email address will often return the expected results.
