Discover scan failing to read PST files on discover server with Microsoft Outlook installed
Data Loss Prevention (DLP) 64-Bit Detection Server with Network Discover channel enabled.
Scan Detail logs indicate failure:
"Aug 24, 2017 1:14:40 PM","WARNING","XXRedactedXX","FAILED_ITEM","//Server/and/Path/PSTFilename.pst","0","Exception occurred during initialization. Ensure that Microsoft Outlook is configured properly.","","",""
This can occur when the 32-bit Outlook mail client is installed on a DLP 64-Bit detection server. The DLP product requires the 64-Bit Outlook client to be installed.
Uninstall the 32-Bit Outlook Client and install the 64-Bit version.
