Schemus Synchronization Tool and ClientNet Two Factor Authentication
Last Updated June 26, 2019
You would like to enable Two Factor Authentication (2FA) for your users on the ClientNet portal and want to know how this interacts with the Schemus Synchronization Tool operation.
Two Factor Authentication is only required to login to the ClientNet portal.
Schemus uses a different authentication method (through an API) and will not require the second factor to be entered.
If you have configured a separate ClientNet account for your Schemus installation to use, it does NOT need to be configured with a VIP credential ID unless there specific need to login to ClientNet with these credentials.
