Issue/Introduction

The BCAAA service fails to negotiate an SSL connection under certain conditions when the BCAAA user does not have "domain admin" priviledges.

BCAAA debug log error or Windows Event log (EventID 2000):

"AcquireCredentialsHandle failed: 0x8009030d; status=-2146893043:0x8009030d:The credentials supplied to the package were not recognized"

Cause

BCAAA does not have sufficient priviledages to extract required credentials

Resolution

Give the BCAAA user access to the certificate store

Registry
Stop the BCAAA service. From the Run prompt, launch the regedit program to give the BCAAA user full access to the following key and its children: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography\Services

Folder/File
Allo access to all files in the folder "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys".  When allowing permissions, ensure to replace permissions on all child objects
