Issue/Introduction

This technical article provides instruction in how to verify the Routing Domains configuration.

Resolution

Using the CLI

Use the ping command to verify that traffic is routed properly through your routing domain. It has been modified to accept the routing domain name as an argument.
SGOS# ping ip_address routing_domain_name

Use the following commands to view routing domain information.

Routing domain view command displays the available routing domains.
SGOS#(config) routing-domains
SGOS#(config routing-domains) view

Routing domain edit mode view command displays information about the specified routing domain.
SGOS#(config) routing-domains
SGOS#(config routing-domains) edit routing_domain_name
SGOS#(config routing_domain_name) view

show ip-route-table command displays information about the default routing table and all routing domains.
SGOS# show ip-route-table

Using the Management Console

Navigate to Configuration - Network - Routing Domains to see the routing domains configured. Select one of the routing domains and click in Edit to see the Interfaces and VLAN associated to this routing domain.

Navigate to Configuration - Network - Routing then Select Routing and click in the Static Routing Table button. This will open a new tab with the routing table.
