Issue/Introduction

ATP web console UI is not available after upgrade from ATP version 3.0.5 to version 3.1.0.

Environment

ATP8840 model appliance upgraded from ATP Platform version 3.0.5 to one of the following: ATP Platform 3.1.0, ATP Platform 3.2.0, SEDR 4.0.0.

 

Cause

The elasticsearch fails to initialize database shards before reaching a set timeout.

Resolution

To prevent this issue, upgrade to Symantec Endpoint Detection and Response (SEDR) 4.1.0.
