Issue/Introduction

Some web pages are not trusted when browsing the internet inside of Android Studio while protected by the Web Security Service.

Environment

-Protected by WSS
-Android Studio installed on workstation
-SSL Interception enabled in WSS Portal.

Resolution

To import the Cloud Root CA in Android Stuidio, please follow these steps:

  1. In the WSS Portal go to Service > Network > SSL Interception
  2. Download the certificate.
  3. Open Android Studio.
  4. In the Configure drop-down menu, go to Settings
  5. Go to Tools > Server Certificates
  6. Click the + button and browse to the folder where the certificate was downloaded.
  7. Click on Apply
