When the Symantec Ghost Solution Suite (GSS) console is launched the GUI, the buttons, and menus are locked to the size they are when the console was first launched. Resizing the console does not function properly.

There is no associated error message, but the console does not display correctly after resizing.
The cause of this issue is a defect in the product. It is scheduled to be fixed in a future release. Please subscribe to this article to be notified when updates to this issue are made.
To work around this issue the GSS console can be set to the desired size and then exited and then relaunched. The console will then launch in the same size as it was when it was closed and work at that resolution.
Symantec Corporation has acknowledged that the abovementioned issue is present in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned at the end of this article. Symantec is committed to product quality and satisfied customers.
There are no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in the current or previous versions of the software at the present time. However, the issue is currently scheduled to be addressed in the next major revision of the product.
