An enhancement to the Symantec Application Classification feature on Global Intelligence Network (GIN) has became effective on 31 May 2018 (refer to the official announcement). After the enhancement, the application name Google Docs has been changed to Google Drive on GIN and new entry Google Drive started to return in application map on PacketShaper. However, the old entry Google Docs also still returns and stays in application map on PacketShaper even after the enhancement on GIN. In short, both old and new entries return and stay on PacketShaper for some application as follows.
Both old and new entries work correctly. Either one can be used. There's no harm caused by this, just that if both are in separate classes as matching rules, the one highest in the class tree will match.
