Click Policies on the left-hand side of the screen. Then click Security Policies
Put in a Policy name at the top where it says Enter Policy Name. Clicking on where it says Enter Policy Name will allow you to put in a name, which is required.
Click the + icon and Create Security Policy.
Click the option under Network Protection to turn off the Firewall rule and any other options you want for this device.
Click Create Policy
Create a Group
Click the Groups, User, Devices on the left-hand side of the screen.
Click the + icon and Create Group. From here put in a Group Name and description.
Deselect the checkbox for Apply Symantec recommended policies. Click Next.
Select the Symantec recommended system policy, or any other policy you wish. Then next.
Select the new Security Policy you just created with the firewall turned off. Click Create Group.
When prompted to Add Users. Select the box for Add Users and chose the individual user from the group you want to apply the new Security Policy to where firewall is turned off. This will apply that setting to only the User(s) in that group.
