Following the restore of a configuration or full backup from when the Threat Defense feature was enabled, Messaging Gateway (SMG) may begin queueing message in the Inbound or Outbound queues if the SMG system is not restarted.
If a configuration backup from a time when Threat Defense was enabled is restored to an SMG system on which Threat Defense is not enabled, the Threat Defense configuration is applied but a key underlying system process is not automatically started.
This may be resolved by a restart of the SMG appliance or running 'service casoop restart' from the admin command line.
