You want to upload files directly from the WI CLI to an opened support case.
There are two methods for uploading evidence to an active support case each require Internet access to Symantec servers.
Login to the CLI of the gateway having the issue and issue the following commands: curl -iS https://upload.bluecoat.com/support/upload/sr=AAAAAAAA/sn=BBBBBBBBBB/file.tar.xz -T /full/path/to/file.tar.xz --insecure
NOTE: Replace AAAAAAAA with the support case number and replace BBBBBBBBBB with the serial number of the appliance NOTE2: Only compressed archives can be uploaded to the case using this method
After receiving an evidence request from support, log into the CLI of the gateway and issue the following commands:
Using the username received in the evidence request email. This will then prompt for the password received in the same email. Support staff can login using email@example.com.
Then, from the sftp> prompt:
cd to your case number, and finally, upload the requested files using a put command:
