Symantec Endpoint Protection Cloud (SEPC) on Mac will let me run quick scan but full scan gets scan error.
Unable to run full scan on MacOS with SEPC.
ISSUE: You are able to run a quick scan on your MacOS with SEPC, but you get a scan error when trying to run a full scan.
SEPC is probably fine, and the issue is likely that you are not currently logged in as an Admin user on your MacOS.
You may see an error page that looks like this :
The issue most likely is that you are logged in as a non-admin user account, and this is why you cannot perform the full scan and only the quick scan works.
Simply make sure you are currently logged in as an Administrator user, if you need to perform a full scan.
To see your existing user accounts, go to System Preferences > Users & Groups. This preference pane shows a list of existing user accounts, which you create new accounts, it also lets you set a number of login options.
