Endpoint Protection 14 RU1 or newer clients enrolled into the cloud portal shows Unknown or Offline when checking Device Status

You installed Symantec Endpoint Protection 14 RU1 or newer and enrolled Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager into the cloud portal. From the cloud portal when checking the Device Status, it shows "Unknown" or "Offline" for the clients.
