When adding the Active Directory User settings for your Symantec Endpoint Detection and Response 4.0 or Advanced Threat Protection 3.x Appliance, you see a DB Error reported.
This can occur when the data written to the internal settings database (mariadb) is corrupt or there is an error reading the existing data. The solution is to delete the Domain from the Appliance web interface and choose Add Domain to provide the settings for the AD server again.
Please follow this document to be sure you are providing the correct AD settings when using ATP 3.2 or later: https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH251676.html
