You are receiving emails from your Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) indicating that an error has occurred. Inside the System Report, you see that these errors are occurring at regular intervals.
Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager 14.0 and 14.1
You get the following error via email from the SEPM:
An unexpected exception has occurred. Unexpected server error.
You see the following error at the same time in scm-server-0.log:
java.lang.NumberFormatException: This is not an valid [sic] IP address.
This issue has been resolved in the most recent build of the Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) client.
Upgrade your SEP clients to the most recent version.
