Issue/Introduction
User attempts to force close or force quit Endpoint Protection Mobile (SEP Mobile) application on Android, with Samsung Knox enabled.

Cause
Samsung Smart Manager app defaults to closing applications that have not been used for 3 days.
The SEP Mobile application cannot provide full-time security to devices if the app has been shut down.
To prevent SEP Mobile from being shutdown and to provide 24/7 security to devices, SEP mobile uses Samsung KNOX License Management System (KLMS)
KLMS ensures that SEP Mobile cannot be closed.
Resolution
While it is always advised to gain the KNOX permissions for the SEP Mobile application's resiliency, SEP Mobile allows setting the KNOX permissions from the Management Console, as follows:
- Login
- Go to Settings>Privacy Controls>App Permissions>Samsung Knox (Android only)
- There are 3 options:
- Never ask for this permission
- Optional - let users decide
- Mandatory (recommended)
