When attempting to add an administrator to a VIP account, an error occurs.
An administrator with this email address has already been created. Create this administrator again using a different email address
The username (email address) identifies the VIP account being logged into.
Delete that username from the existing VIP account (note: this will remove access to that VIP Manager account)
If the account has expired and is no longer accessible, please contact Symantec Technical Support.
If your organization has multiple VIP accounts and the user requires access, add an identifier to the username. Do this by appending it with / and an easy-to-remember identifier. For example, email@example.com/prod and firstname.lastname@example.org/testcould respectively be used as login names for the same user to separate VIP production and testing accounts within the same organization.
Note: Use the complete user name with the forgot my password feature. VIP will remove the unique identifier before sending the password reset email.
