Encryption Desktop is able to make encrypted ZIP files, for secure transfer. However, when trying to decrypt a large file, approximately 3GB or larger, the process fails with the message: "The PGP Zip may be corrupt. (-11999)" or "An error has occurred: out of memory"
Windows clients running Encryption Desktop 10.4.2 and greater
The PGP Zip may be corrupt. (-11999)
An error has occurred: out of memory
Symantec is investigating the issue. It has only been seen on Encryption Desktop 10.4.2 and later versions, and is not present on 10.4.1 and earlier, so as a workaround, extracting the file on a system with the earlier version of Encryption Desktop is an option.
