Issue/Introduction

Following upgrade of Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) clients to 14.2, the green dot is missing in clients tab of Endpoint Protection Manager. Green dot may or may not be visible on client shield. Connection Status in client UI will show as not connected. Definitions may not be up to date.

Environment

Newly upgraded 14.2 clients.

Cause

Hanging thread in communication process.

Resolution
