After installing the SEDR CSA onto a macOS client, the daemon does not launch
Last Updated March 21, 2019
When installing the Collection Service Agent for Symantec Endpoint Detection and Response cloud console onto a macOS client, you check the Daemon log and see that it has not run since the installation occured and the CollectionServiceAgent.ini file is checked for the apiKey value.
This has been resolved in Endpoint Detection and Response 4.1 by forcing the daemon to recheck the CollectionServiceAgent.ini file for the apiKey value if it is not seen on the first try.
