Issue/Introduction
After upgrading the Symantec Endpoint Detection and Response (SEDR) appliance, Synapse reports "Not connected: Install the latest version of the Synapse Log Collector". Attempts to reconfigure the Log Collector service also fail.
Not connected: Install the latest version of the Synapse Log Collector
Cause
The version of the Synapse Log Collect for SEPM Embedded DB has been updated and the installed version is not compatible with the version of the SEDR appliance.
Resolution
Download and install the new version of the Synapse Log Collector from the SEDR GUI -> Settings -> Global -> Synapse -> Download Synapse Log Collector for SEPM Embedded DB.
