You have decided to temporarily disable Smart Firewall on your device using the Symantec Endpoint Protection Cloud (SEPC) Agent.
1) To disable protection features locally on the SEPC Agent, you must first check the box "Let user temporarily disable firewall," from within your security policy in your SEPC Console.
2) From the Systems Tray, right click the SEPC icon. A small menu will appear and allow you to temporarily "Disable Smart Firewall," and "Disable Auto-Protect."
You can perform these same steps to enable these protection features again.
To disable the rest of the protection features, you must first allow users to disable the features from within your security policy. Once permission is granted, you can open the "Advanced" settings to disable/configure the remaining Protection Features as desired (below).
Please note: Turning off some of the Protection Features will put your SEPC Agent into an "At Risk" state. This will force the agent to go RED and inform you to "Fix Now," in an attempt to resolve the security risk (below).
3) Selecting "Fix Now" will resolve any detected issues, as well as, turn on all Protection Features as allowed by the currently applied Security Policy.
