How do I temporarily suspend background activities and suppress alerts from the Symantec Endpoint Protection Cloud (SEPC) Agent? SEPC provides a Silent Mode to supress alerts, notifications, or background activities for a specified duration.
1) Right click on the SEPC icon in your Systems Tray
2) A small menu will appear allowing you to left click "Turn on Silent Mode"
3) The "Turn on Silent Mode" window will appear. Select the duration for Silent Mode to run from the available options.
Please note: The activities which were suspended during the duration of Silent Mode will run when Silent Mode turns off. Further, this option is only available on Windows devices.
